Never before in our world history have we had the ability to teach world compassion literally right at our fingertips as we have today. Knowledge of world events that are occurring around the globe are virtually known within seconds and or minutes due to the abilities we now have through the advanced technologically systems we have available to us right in our own homes.
The internet technology we have today offers us the opportunity to teach this generation and future generations the importance of helping others who are in need or have suffered tragedy regardless if they are in the next state or across the world in another country.
We can teach that division of classes and materialism is destructive and leads to poverty of finances and depletes the human spirit.
We can learn about the traditions and cultures through out our world and adopt them into our own, in order to create a global understanding of people everywhere.
The advantages we have should not debilitate us but they should elevate us.
When we are so focused on our own wants we can not possibly comprehend the needs of a world and people in pain.
Not that we need to ruminate in tragedy but nor should we close our eyes to it either.
If we teach the value and worth of the person, maybe we can change the tide and widen our understanding of how unimportant it is or where we fit in regards to lower, middle or upper class.
